Mini Lops are $200. Four and a half to six and a half pounds full grown, roughly double a Holland Lop. Ours come from imported European stock, which is why the colours carry German names. Every one is eating well on its own, litter trained, and RHDV vaccinated before it travels.

Mini Lop bunnies for sale, and what "mini" means here
A Mini Lop bunny and a Mini Lop rabbit are the same breed at different ages. At four and a half to six and a half pounds they are noticeably heavier than a Holland Lop and a better fit for someone who wants a rabbit with some substance to it. If you want to buy a Mini Lop rabbit, everything ready is on this page.
The naming causes trouble internationally. In the United States the Mini Lop is this breed. In the United Kingdom, the rabbit called a Miniature Lop is smaller and closer to what Americans call a Holland Lop. If you have read a British care sheet quoting three pounds, that is why the numbers do not match.
Mini Lop, Mini Plush Lop and Mini Lion Lop are three different breeds
This causes more confusion than anything else in rabbits, so it is worth being plain.
- Mini Lop. What we breed. Four and a half to six and a half pounds, short dense coat, lopped ears.
- Mini Plush Lop. A separate American breed with a short velvety rex-type coat. We do not breed them.
- Mini Lion Lop. A lop carrying the lionhead mane gene, so it has a woolly ruff. We do not breed these either.
If one of those is specifically what you want, a breed club directory will find you a breeder faster than we can. If the names simply blurred together and you wanted a small lop-eared rabbit, a Mini Lop is very likely the one you meant.
Imported lines and their colours
Our Mini Lops descend from imported European stock, so the listings carry German colour names: Havanna, Sallander, Thüringer, Japaner, Holländer. Most of those varieties are simply not present in American Mini Lop herds, which is the point of importing.
Every one is translated to its closest US equivalent on the listing, and where no ARBA variety exists we say so rather than pretending. The full colour translation is here.
Mini Lop or Holland Lop?
The two are the ones most people are choosing between. A Mini Lop is calmer and heavier, a Holland Lop smaller and a little busier. Neither is better. The comparison in full, or what living with a Mini Lop involves.
Getting your rabbit home
Collection in Bakersfield is free and needs no deposit. Everywhere else, the rabbit is driven to you in a climate-controlled vehicle, the whole way, never flown and never shipped as cargo. A deposit applies only if you want one held for a later date.
