Since 2020

Past Bunnies

Every Holland Lop we have placed.

We keep them here rather than deleting them. It is the honest record of what actually comes out of this rabbitry, and it will tell you more about what future litters look like than anything we could write.

No past bunnies to show yet.

Why this page exists

Most breeder sites show you what is for sale and nothing else. The moment a rabbit is placed it vanishes, and you are left judging a rabbitry on four photographs of whatever happens to be available this week.

That is a bad way to buy an animal. The rabbits that have already gone are the real evidence. They show you the colours that actually come out of these pairings, the build, the condition, and how consistent it is across years rather than across one litter.

If the Holland Lops on this page look like the sort of rabbit you want, then the ones coming will too. If they do not, you have saved yourself an email and I have saved myself a difficult conversation.

What you are looking at

Five litters a year since 2020, bred selectively. I cut back deliberately after a period of running more than I could stay on top of, and the consistency on this page is the reason. The full story is on the about page.

Nothing here is retouched and nothing is left out because it did not photograph well. These are the rabbits, as they were.

If one of these is what you are after

Say so. If you tell me which of these caught your eye I will tell you honestly whether something similar is coming out of a current pairing, or whether you would be waiting a year for it. What I will not do is take money against a litter that does not exist yet.

The four breeds we raise

All of them are raised the same way: indoors, in the house, handled from a few days old, and stay with us until they are eating well on their own, litter trained and ready for a home of their own.

  • Holland Lops: 2–4 lb, calm, friendly, very handleable. $250 buck, $280 doe.
  • Mini Lops: 4.5–6 lb, sociable and playful. $200.
  • Netherland Dwarfs: 1.5–2.5 lb, lively, best with gentle handling. $250.
  • French Lops: 10–15 lb, placid, docile, a large lap rabbit. $350.

Not sure which suits you? Holland Lop against Mini Lop, or buck against doe. If you would rather just describe your house and be told, write to Arlen.
