What the Arizona weather means for the journey

Arizona summers are the reason we travel at night for June through September deliveries. A rabbit does not tolerate heat the way it tolerates cold, and above 85F we move the run rather than risk it.

Rabbits handle cold far better than heat. Above roughly 85°F we travel overnight, and we will move a delivery by a day rather than take a rabbit through a heat advisory or a snowstorm. Nobody has ever complained about that once it is explained.
